Does JinkoSolar have REACH and RoHS certification?
Yes, Jinko has Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) certificates for all PV modules, as long as it is a mandatory regulation for the EU region. Regarding Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), Jinko also sells modules with that certification.
-
Are there PFAS contained in JinkoSolar modules?
The EU’s main restriction for modules is the PFAS (Per-and polyfluorinated substances), so our modules are free of them. We have the REACH-SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) certificate, which provides the restriction framework of PFAS for Europe and is considered the most effective tool to manage the risk of these substances.
-
What is the fire rating for JinkoSolar modules?
Our current certificate IEC 61215/61730 specifies for the Fire Rating the UL790, which is the most accepted market practice.
All our products of the portfolio, mono-facial and bifacial, have a fire rating of class C.
-
Do JinkoSolar's modules resist hail impacts?
All our modules, either by direct testing or by testing on representative modules, undergo hail test, because this test is mandatory for obtaining the IEC 61215 certificate.
The test is performed according to the Module Quality Test (MQT) 17 from the IEC 61215-2, which basically means testing with a 25 mm diameter ice ball at 23 m/s, directed at 11 different locations. -
Is there any minimum bend radius for PV modules’ cables?
The minimum bend radius is the permissible curvature the cable can be bent around. Depending on the type of cable, a specific coefficient (Cable multiplier), must be applied. For our DC cables, this parameter is 4. Please use the following formula:
-
What is JinkoSolar’s Neo Green initiative?
