JinkoSolar was the first global solar manufacturer to become a member of the RE100 and EP100 initiatives in 2019.
In addition, the company became the first photovoltaic group company worldwide to have the three major targets (near-term, long-term and Net Zero) validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
United Nations Global Compact
In 2021 JinkoSolar joined the United Nations Global Compact, setting an example to the photovoltaic manufacturing industry.
We firmly believe that our choice of shaping our policies and conducting our business in compliance with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, is not only consistent with our core values, but also represents an exceptional opportunity for growth.
Zero Carbon Manufacturing
JinkoSolar promotes the pace of energy conservation and emission reduction. We have established the first internal “Zero-Carbon Factory” industrial chain, and obtained the certifications issued by TÜV Rheinland.
JinkoSolar has established the “Zero-Carbon Factory” from crystal pulling in Sichuan Base, slicing in Leshan Base, cell in Chuxiong Base and module in Shangrao Base, which constitutes the basis of the new Neo Green module series.
